The values behind capitalism like free flow of ideas, individualism, and personal motivation all help art forms to spread and grow in our society.\u00a0 The artist can create any art that he or she wishes and will almost always find an individual to appreciate it and maybe even buy it. Instead of having a state figure force artists to create specific works of art, the artist answers to know one other than the market. That is not to say that an artists goal has to be about making money, but it does create a financial backing for artists to thrive.\u00a0 The more resources available the quantity and the quality of art increases.
