Pedro Lasch’s video on experimental pedagogy and self-organized platforms made me think of my best friends trip to Washington D.C. last year.<\/p>\n

The controversial election of Trump this past year lead many women and men to the streets in protest all over the nation. The aim being to stand together in solidarity against the hostile rhetoric imposed by the trump campaign\u00a0that accentuated hatred against men and women of all races across the United States. My best friends traveled up to Washington D.C. to participate in one of the largest protests in America’s history and stood side by side with men and women who felt they had no voice. Love echoed through the streets of our nation’s capital, and around the world where sister marches were held. They\u00a0found themselves amidst something bigger than themselves, marching with a greater purpose in mind; fighting the hierarchal\u00a0agenda of President Trump.<\/p>\n
