In a class I am taking this semester, The Generative Way, focused on fostering inventiveness, we recently did a 30-day experiment in which we intentionally changed a routine behavior or did a new activity each day.  This was based off of research that asserts that deliberately engaging in creative behavior has a positive impact on one\u2019s creative capacity. I did activities such as writing a haiku or walking a new route through the gardens to class. At the end of the month, I feel that I am more aware of my surroundings and my creativity really did improve. This process would definitely classify as a form of art and demonstrates how creativity can be applied to any subject, field, or activity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creativity is not only an inherited personality trait, but also a valuable skill that can be enhanced with practice.
