Teacher is a street artist from LA since 2011. His initial inspiration came from budget cuts in the public school education system and wanted to take a public stance on how he felt that was wrong. His mission is to protect future generations, especially because he is a father and fears the world his children may grow up in. Lastly, what caught my attention most was the quote Teacher says in his video below. I thought it was interesting how public art may reach more people than art that takes place in ‘typical art spaces’.
