Springsteen cancelled his concert just last week in Greensboro, NC after North Carolina passed House Bill 2. CNN reports, “North Carolina’s governor on Wednesday signed a controversial bill blocking cities from allowing transgender individuals to use public bathrooms for the sex they identify as — as well as restricting cities from passing nondiscrimination laws more broadly”.
Bruce cancelled his concert in protest against the passing of the Bill and left North Carolina stating, “Some things are more important than a rock show and this fight against prejudice and bigotry which is happening while I write, is one of them”.
Hell yeah Springsteen.
