Interactive and collaborative in nature, Thomas Hirschhorn and the residents transform the NYC housing project, Forest Houses, into a monument named for the Italian philosopher. The monument included a library, performance platform, workshop area, internet corner, lounge and bar—all run by residents. Daily lectures were offered and a website provided live streaming and archives for documentation.
