The Lonely Londoners collective was formed with the purpose of giving voice to artists of color — typically marginalized artists whose work the canon omits. Much like their counterparts Museum Mammy (Kimberly Drew) and Arts.Black they are an outlet formed online giving voice to people of color by facilitating actual exhibits.
Four exhibitions under their belts in NY and London- the most recent, “Crossing the Black Atlantic.”
“The space that Parker and Keskin have carved out has created fresh conversations between the few artists of color who have been realized by the traditional art world, artists who are making work that details their own experiences.”- The Creator’s Project
