The AHTR operates similarly to the Art of the MOOC. It is a website created to serve as a resource center for all levels of practicing art historians. The website includes a variety of different mediums featured in people’s online posts that introduce and combine both conventional and non-traditional pedagogical approaches to the field of study. The peer submissions include a number of different posts from video tutorials, books reviews, virtual tours, images, and so forth. But most importantly the site allows art historians to be apart of an online community where they can contribute to an on-going discussion and consideration for new ways of teaching and learning.
