Marjetica Potrc’s Caracas: Growing Houses, with Dry Toilet examines the negotiation of space and infrastructure. The buildings consist of second floor housing and a dry toilet shared by two families who also share the first floor as a business space. The case study forces the residents to negotiate energy and water amongst themselves as well as with the municipality—fostering reconsidering themselves as citizens in a greater society.
