In this project, I rode the subway wearing a swimming rubber tube around my waist. As I sat on the crowded metro, surrounded by people, I started to blow it up. I wanted to show the invisible private space around my body which is ignored most of the time. I used the glowing green rubber tube to make it visible. I performed it Tehran (Iran) where some public places are divided by gender. Some Carriages of the train are exclusively for women, and the rest of them are common. I wanted to challenge the politics of space in both of them to see if their reactions would be different.
